About Final Approach
In the late 1980s, a weathered guide hunkered down in a hand-dug coffin pit in the far out fields of eastern Washington. Exposed to the elements and extremely uncomfortable--as grit and dirt rolled down the collar of his shirt only to settle in the small of his back--the guide was struck with a thought that's familiar to entrepreneurs everywhere: "There has to be a better way." Three sleepless weeks later, Ron Latschaw released the Slider, a layout blind for hunting geese. Born from Latschaw's original invention, Final Approach has been offering the hunting market's most effective and durable waterfowling layout blinds and accessories since 1993.
